The Engineer Behind the Work
Thomas “Darin” Reese, PE, is a fire protection engineer with eight years across suppression, fire alarm, and life safety — design review, code compliance, and risk analysis for facilities where the standards leave no room for interpretation. His career includes fire protection engineering support for NASA, the U.S. Air Force, and major aerospace facilities: compliance evaluations, life safety assessments, and system engineering under some of the most demanding criteria in the country.
His independent practice serves fire protection contractors, owners, and design teams: third-party plan review and engineer-of-record services, engineering evaluations of water supplies and fire pumps, and code consulting — from high-rise tenant improvements to institutional, industrial, and government facilities.
